The marriage of plush, earthy Shiraz and fine, floral/bloody Malbec here is a hand-in-glove complementary affair. A blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Malbec from the 1919 Eastern vineyard and 1989 Western vineyard plantings, each positively offsets the other, while the cool year has framed the wine with an inherent delicacy and freshness. What a beautiful thing."
