Vines planted '72, hand-picked and sorted, wild yeast-open fermented with 70% whole berry/30% whole bunch, 15 days on skins, matured in French oak (30% new) for 10 months. Very good colour; old vines are the key to the deep colour, the intense red berry and spice flavours with a foresty undertow ex the whole bunch use.
