This is meaty and reductive but it’s also grunty with tannin. It’s an excellent pinot noir. Black and red cherry, meat, peppercorn and garden herbs characters come whispered with chocolate and smoked cedar. It’s clearly varietal but it’s also a wine of genuine substance."
