As is often the case chez Chevillon, this is the most elegant wine in the range with its spicy, ultra-fresh and restrained nose that mixes both red and dark pinot fruit, violet and sandalwood. The equally restrained, cool and intense middleweight flavors are notably finer with superb detail and ample minerality on the moderately austere, balanced and strikingly lengthy finish that is shaped by fine-grained tannins. This is at once stylish and very classy."
