"Faury's 2019 Saint Joseph comes from his 15 parcels in Chavanay and includes 70% whole clusters, a bit more than usual. Matured in a mix of foudres and demi-muids, it boasts enthralling aromas of violets, rose petals, black tea leaves and crushed peppercorns, all sprinkled liberally over a base of black olives and red berries. Medium to full-bodied, it's an outstanding effort, complex, silky and long on the finish."
