At the bottom of the slope adjoining Puligny-Montrachet and adjacent to Gamay. This is a 45 year old parcel just northwest of en Remilly 1er Cru. Spiced white flowers and smoky minerals advance from the finely structured palate with subtle fruit and finesse. Very fresh and driven the wine has bracing acidity and neatly edged texture that delivers a wine not only expressive of the vineyard but also the vintage.
"Below Champlots. Pale greenish gold. Very reductive nose. Lots of substance and finesse. Finely etched and extremely precise. More weight than the Champlots." 17.5 Points, Jancis Robinson
“Pale, bright lemon-yellow. Terrific precision to the aromas of lemon and salty minerality. Dense and sweet but savory too, showing excellent mineral cut and lemony acidity to the pear and white peach flavors. Finishes dry and long.” Steve Tanzer Sept/Oct 2014
