"As in the past this is wine that represents the essence of the vintage, a selection of old vine parcels, this year a selection of 10 parcels including a section of A Grana and Paraje Mina. The soil profile is always dominated by Granite and everything is Pergola trained. Each parcel see’s its own vessel which is use for both Fermentation and aging, this year around 40% barrel and rest Tank. It’s slightly reticent from the cooler vintage, just like the previous vintages this will need some time to unwind in bottle. Yellow nectarines, sea spray, wet stones and a lovely frame of the barrel here. An incredibly serious wine with no rough edges and pure enjoyment to be had."
