"From a portion of old vines in the Piccadilly subregion referred to as 'Grand Cru'. White stone fruit, grapefruit and lime peel with earthen cinnamon bark. The concentration here is dialled up and tuned in, as is the purity of fruit, with Greek yoghurt lactic creaminess folded through. From a cooler-than-usual vintage, the wine is so delightfully clean, transparent and microscopically calibrated. I'm in awe. Acidity is brilliant, bright, weaved in and enlivening. Underripe pineapple and red apple skin, fleshy and tart with bitter citrus through the finish. It's tightly wound, seemingly infinitely so, which should excite us all. Its future is a safe bet."
