The freshness and intensity of the palate led to the trophy for Best Chardonnay at the Sydney Wine Show 2017. Winemaker Cliff Royle picked the amount of new oak, and the time the wine spent in oak, to perfection, placing maximum focus on the perfectly ripe flavours.

Chardonnay a la mode. From Wallcliffe.
Check it out now, the funk soul brother. It’s the stuck match, the funk soul rubber. White peach, spiced cashews, ripe grapefruit. Light to medium bodied, smoke and sulphide, cool acidity, flinty texture, lime, grapefruit and white peach, heaps of tangy length, layered with smoke and spice and the tingy tangy taste of limon. Excellent wine, but you have to like them on the leaner, more worked side.
