“Picked with 50% botrytis, the 2023 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Auslese (Long Gold Capsule) opens with a clear, fresh and slatey bouquet of passion fruit, candied lemon and white chocolate aromas intertwined with notes of wet stones and earth along with saline notes. Round and lush as well as generous yet always refined on the palate, this is a textured and finessed, stimulating savory and lemon-fruity Auslese that was bottled with 145 grams per liter of residual sugar and almost 12 grams per liter of total acidity; it has perfect balance and great finesse. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork.”
