While this isn't quite as aromatically elegant as the Roncière, it is still quite pretty with its perfumed aromas of both red and dark berries, earth and a subtle hint of humus. The rich, generously proportioned and dense medium weight plus flavors possess impressive power while delivering equally good depth and length if not quite the same minerality. This is presently very firmly structured and is a wine that clearly is going to require patience; indeed I would advise holding this for a minimum of 7 to 8 years first and 15+ will likely be necessary. Outstanding.
