"Herbaceous, floral and extremely reserved and showing little today on the spicy, earthy nose followed by big, dense, muscular, pure, black fruit, moderately structured flavors that are completely wrapped in sappy extract. The richness is sensational and the sap relegates the tannins to the finish. Interestingly, there is less acidity here than one would expect for the vintage though that doesn't seem to disturb the near perfect balance at all. Superb potential here."
