"This famous vineyard derives its name from its geographical position on a steep slope where the workers would hurt their feet when digging the soil. Bouchard Pere & Fils has owned 38 ares of this Premier Cru since 1775, the year when the House also bought its very first vineyards, in Les Caillerets.
Aromas of red fruit and berries on the nose. With expressive aromas repeated firmly on the palate, this wine has wonderful liveliness, softening with a bit of time and patience. Good ageing potential. "
