"The 2022 Chablis Montmains 1er Cru comes from 55- to 65-year-old vines, fermented in stainless steel than transferred into concrete egg for malo for up to 10 months. This has a refined bouquet with lime, beeswax and very subtle algae-like scents, quite estuarine in style. The palate is very harmonious and smooth on the entry, well-judged acidity, slightly lower in acidity than other cuvées but with a very harmonious and quite sensual finish that delivers just the right bitterness. Worth seeking out."

"55-65-year-old vines. Part concrete egg elevage.
A broader width of yellow citrus, almost faintly cushioned and flowered. Also more cushion to this depth of flavour – faintly chalky finishing. Super wine of structure."
