Given a couple of hours to open up this shows terrific fruit purity, with a furious slick of blackcurrant and a silkiness that’s about as sheer as a pair of hotpants. There’s a crash of tannins on the finish, coffee, olive and earth complexity, and a firm, strong, acid/tannin frame on which it’s built. Margaret River. Drink Now.
