"A deft application of wood sets off notably ripe dark currant, blue berry, plum and earth-suffused aromas. The equally ripe, rich and velvety flavors possess excellent size and weight before terminating in an utterly delicious, moderately firm and attractively long finish where the wood telegraphed by the nose resurfaces. I very much like the sense of underlying tension and overall, this is a wine of relative refinement. Recommended. Outstanding. 90-93 points"
