Orchard fruits, meadow flowers and sandy soil fill an immediately likeable nose. The palate is simple and sunny-butfresh, and has good richness and volume without sweetness. It’s nicely textured, really easy-going with a touch of gentle skin-tannin grip and very nicely controlled phenolics carried along in limestone’s gentle strictness. There’s real restraint, rather than Rhoney blowsiness, with linearity and grip - the melding of fruit skins and soil running the show and finishing with a nice metal-mineral acid thread.
