"This is an intense wine of noteworthy line and length. It’s going to live and develop for a long time, or certainly in chardonnay terms it will. It’s keen with nashi pear and grapefruit flavours, and steel, and cedar, and oatmeal and creamy, leesy characters. It’s a little more penetrating than perhaps we’re accustomed to with By Farr but it’s not short on flavour, for certain. Tuck this away. It will be something."
