"Mint fondant, blackcurrant, some gum leaf, a little mulch, planks of cedar, but largely its game is mint and black fruit. Medium bodied, a bit tense and tannic in the mouth, showing some wet vintage astringency, but plenty of sweetly ripe black fruit to cover it. Iron like tannin on the finish. It’s a good wine, not least considering the vintage."
