GEORGIA'S PADDOCK RIESLING 2026

A polar opposite wine to the 2025, this Riesling shows that no two vintages are the same.  While also picked early, this naturally fermented Riesling sits in the off dry category.  Still very much in the lemon-citrus wheelhouse and carrying plenty of natural acidity, the residual sugar allows for a generous mouth feel and palate weight.

GEORGIA'S PADDOCK SHIRAZ 2025

Georgia’s Paddock Shiraz is approximately half of our entire production.  We pick many tanks across several weeks; this allows us the comfort of harvesting some early, the bulk when optimal and letting a little hang at the riper end of the flavour spectrum.  Each tank is fermented, pressed and kept in oak separately until blending.  The result is complex, fresh red fruits upfront while layers of spice and chalky tannins follow to build weight.  Once again vibrant and approachable now, yet with all the building blocks to cellar with confidence.

EMILY'S PADDOCK SHIRAZ CABERNET FRANC 2025

Predominately Shiraz, this full bodied wine is given added dimension by a small yet impactful 7% addition of Cabernet Franc. Picked and co-fermented, the result offers lifted red fruits with an earthly structure from the soil in which it is grown.  Initially the tannins appear green; however, they give lift and freshness to the palate, allowing the herbal notes to shine.  It is looking good now, but we are excited to see how it will be drinking in another few years.

EMILY MCNALLY

Emily McNally (née Laughton) grew up at Jasper Hill, her family's biodynamic Heathcote vineyard, and has worked the property since 2001. She now leads its viticulture and winemaking as second-generation vigneron, crafting Emily's Paddock and Georgia's Paddock Shiraz, Riesling and Nebbiolo through natural fermentation and minimal intervention. She carries forward the estate her parents, Ron and Elva Laughton, established in 1975, now working alongside her own family on the land she grew up on.
