If you’re looking for the sweet spot where high-end pedigree meets genuine value, Peter Graham’s Domenica is it. Peter is producing some of the most compelling Chardonnay in Beechworth right now, and the newly released 2025 is a masterclass in purity and site expression.
The 2025 vintage benefited from a temperate, cool, and dry growing season. A warm burst in late January allowed the fruit to reach full ripeness in pristine condition. The result? High yields and, more importantly, exceptional quality across the board.
Graham’s approach is surgical. Handpicked over 10 days by individual block and clone, the fruit was fermented in a mix of 600L demi-muids and traditional barriques (with a modest 20% new oak).
By allowing only 50% malolactic fermentation, Peter retains a driving natural acidity that gives the wine incredible tension. The use of larger format oak adds a subtle, light-toast depth without ever overshadowing the fruit.
