While these wines are classified as rosé, they are far from the simple, refreshing examples typically found in Côtes du Provence or the iconic rosés of Bandol. The Tavel wines from l'Anglore are complex, intense, and captivating. Comparing them to the aforementioned appellations would be unfair to both.
