Domaine Alain Graillot
"At the family estate, Maxime has continued the 100% whole-cluster approach of his father, keeping the domaine's signature style. It remains a pacesetter for the appellation."

Domaine Alain Graillot is widely recognised as a producer of top-tier Crozes-Hermitage wines. These wines are celebrated for their exceptional quality and expression of the region's terroir. Only established in the mid-1980s, the winery was led by the highly-regarded Alain Graillot, who earned a reputation for his skill and expertise in creating outstanding wines. Today, Alain's sons, Maxime and Antoine Graillot, have taken over the reins of the winery and continue to uphold the family's legacy of excellence. Together, they work tirelessly to craft wines that express the terroir and reflect their passion for the Crozes-Hermitage.

2021 Crozes-Hermitage
Usually $109 - Special Offer $99
"Dark red; really alert, vivacious bouquet, a basket full of black cherries, hints of mulberry, licorice. The palate rocks, offers instant and pleasing dark berry fruit with a nudge of sweetness, holds slightly furry tannins for now. There is a cool thread through it, which works very well in its lift and freedom. The aftertaste has a note of cherry stone, black olives, a herbal tone from the inclusion of the stems."

2020 Crozes-Hermitage 'La Guiraude'
Usually $154 - Special Offer $139
"Dark robe, black tints. The bouquet is wide, dark, intense, close-knit for now, gives a blackcurrant, smoky black cherry aroma, plenty of unfurling to do. The palate holds good, compact content which will serve as a good platform for the future; it reaches into the depths of its soils, is akin to a Hermitage from the eastern end of that appellation, carries mystery and potential. There is a good, tenacious offer of juice late on, the tannins correctly ripe. Decant it, and wait until."

"A fragrant nose of spiced cherries, ripe blackberries, dried herbs, baking spices and hints of earth follow through to a medium body with finely grained tannins. It has precision with a slight bitterness on the mid-palate. Layered and funnelled with a mineral edge. Long savory and spicy finish."
