Domaine Jean-Louis Chavy

Puligny-Montrachet, family-run for six generations since 1820, though the domaine only began estate-bottling in 1986. Jean-Louis took over from his father Gérard in 2002, and his son Paul has since joined, adding a small négociant line alongside the estate's seven hectares. The wines favour purity and precision over weight, classic Puligny .

Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey

Chassagne-Montrachet, founded in 2001 by Pierre-Yves Colin and Caroline Morey, two of Burgundy's most respected winemaking names joined in one address. The house style is unmistakable: reductive, leesy, built in 350-litre barrels with no battonnage to smooth the edges. Now farming 13 hectares across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Meursault, PYCM has become one of the defining names of Burgundy's new generation.

Domaine Antoine Jobard

Fifth-generation Meursault, family-run since 1860. Antoine Jobard took full charge in 2007 and has built the estate into one of the appellation's most sought-after names, prized above all for his run of Premier Crus: Genevrières, Charmes, Poruzots. The wines carry a tightly wound minerality on release that opens into real depth and texture with time in the cellar.

Domaine Leflaive

The reference point in Puligny-Montrachet, established in 1717 and refined over three centuries into one of Burgundy's defining white wine estates. Anne-Claude Leflaive led the domaine's move to biodynamic viticulture in the 1990s, a decision that reshaped both the estate and the wider region's approach to farming. Under Brice de La Morandière, that same rigour has extended south into the Mâconnais, where the domaine now farms around 20 hectares, bringing Leflaive precision to a region long overlooked. Dense, mineral, and built to age, across the range.

Henri Germain et Fils

Meursault, founded in 1973 by Henri Germain. Now run by his son Jean-François, joined by his own daughter Lucie since 2018, three generations in. Jean-François's marriage into the Jobard family brought the Meursault Premier Cru Poruzots parcel into the domaine, making Lucie a granddaughter of François Jobard on her mother's side. Seven hectares across Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet and Beaune, with Premier Cru holdings in Perrières and Charmes alongside Poruzots. Grapes are pressed whole-bunch, unforced, in cellars cold enough to slow fermentation to a crawl. Wines with real density and depth, precise rather than restrained.
