Join us on Wednesday 12 August as Giovanni Angeli, Cellarmaster at Massolino, comes to the MW Wines tasting room. Angeli has spent two decades since shaping fruit from Massolino's Serralunga d'Alba vineyards, among the finest and largest holdings in the commune, into wines built on patience and precision.
The masterclass will take us from Dolcetto up through the estate's Serralunga and Castiglione Falletto crus, before closing on two expressions of the estate's flagship Vigna Rionda side by side: the 2020 Riserva Etichetta Nera, made only in exceptional years, against the 2017 standard Riserva.
