Although this embryonic Mosel masterpiece is barely off-dry it has all the mineral intensity and structure you could wish for from a great dry riesling. So much flinty energy lifts the medium-bodied palate that manages to combine a sense of being almost weightless with great power. Then the very firm and compact finish makes a huge statement that’s laced with accacia honey. Try to be patient, because those who are will be richly rewarded!
