"The 2024 La Santa de Úrsula has to be the finest vintage for this red from the zone of Tacoronte-Acentejo, and this year, it breaks down to 77% Listán Negro, 20% Negramoll and 3% Listán Blanco. There was a fire in the zone in 2023, and 2024 was dry and healthy—it's a humid zone that's prone to illnesses—with a good yield (10% less than in 2023) and balance. The wine has a perfumed nose, with high aromatic intensity and the spiciness that is so classical here, with depth and complexity. It comes in at 12% alcohol, with a pH of 3.33 and 6.18 grams of acidity. It has a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins, and it is stony and serious, with more elegance and finesse, like an improved version of 2021."
