Relatively deep clay-limestone soils in places, hillside with a very steep slope and spiral-like (very hazardous vineyard work…), facing due East. Massal selections (fine plants) and quality clones (113, 114, 115).
The terroir expresses itself through subtle, spicy, licorice, and fruity aromatic notes. The palate is true to the appellation, with a tannic structure that requires great patience.
