"Only 102 bottles shipped. This comes from four vineyard parcels: two young vines on the Saint-Andelain hill in the Bois de Saint-Andelain climat. The other two sources aren’t on the ‘hill’; one is a parcel of 15- to 20-year-old vines on flinty/clay soils, and another on limestone/marl in Les Coques. These sites produce the most direct, accessible expression of Pouilly-Fumé. Under Louis-Benjamin's guidance, its quality has improved dramatically, now rivalling his other wines. Layered and already open, the 2023 offers enormous complexity and pleasure for a young Dagueneau. Of course, it will only get better after 3 to 10 years in bottle."
