"I don’t think that I’ve ever met a Dappled wine that I didn’t immediately love. This Yarra Valley Syrah continues that run. It’s spiced, a bit mulch-y, has oodles of nut, pepper and herb characters, and is flooded with fresh, cherry-plum fruit. It feels fine, juicy, lively and deep at once. The interplay here between savoury, herbal characters and sweet berried fruit is magical. There’s a subtle meatiness in play too but it’s subtle. This is another elegant beauty from Dappled."
