"When a wine is named after your late father (and founder of Bindi), the wonderful Darshan Singh Dhillon, there’s a lot of emotion involved. Made by Darshan's son, winemaker Michael, this comes off Bindi’s first high-density site, planted in 2014 (11,300 vines per ha). This is a lovely wine, heady with autumn leaves after rain, rhubarb, beetroot and pomegranate. Very savoury yet sweetly spiced and tangy with suppleness and fine tannins with some grit and grip. A fitting tribute."
