One particular block is indeed in the shape of a triangle, and that contributes to this wine. A couple of puncheons only. Oak a strong feature here, flint, old campfire, cinnamon, Parisian almond, gingery spice, lemon zest, green apple in the bouquet with echoes in the palate. Succulent and concentrated, more intensity and depth here to taste, detail, perhaps too oaky for me but for many this is pitch perfect seasoning. Slightly gummy, chalky texture a thing. Very, very good wine.
