"Extremely high quality wine. Maybe it doesn’t have the concentration of the big years but there’s more than enough flavour here, and it makes up for it structurally. Of the French oak this year’s release was matured in, 71 per cent of it was new. It tastes of a coffeed spiciness, plums and kirsch. The fruit flavours make it all the way from the start to the last of the aftertaste – the oak plays a supporting but not dominating role. Tannin structure provides a grainy pull through the wine. It needs time to soften but the quality is excellent. 94+ Points/Drink 2015-2023" - Campbell Mattinson
