Wine: Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz
Variety: Shiraz
Vintage: 2010

"Impenetrable colour, purple hue; this subregional Barossa shiraz exhibits a dark and brooding personality, complex and full of intrigue, with black fruits, ironstone, oak derived spices and a floral lift; the palate is tightly wound, impressively proportioned and, whilst dark and dense, shows plenty of detail and excellent balance. Made for the long haul. 95 Points/Drink 2040" - Ben Edwards, James Halliday Australian Wine Companion

"Spicy, garrigue and spiceiness, heaps of shaved wood; it smells fantastic. It’s a touch spicy in the palate too, finishing with flint and graphite quasi-bitterness. Length is good, there’s ripeness packing in behind it. Texture is smooth and long, but the sweetness pushes a bit, then the twiggy oak. Good drink though, likely will look better with time when the mesh is more fluid. Cellar. 91+ Points/Drink 2013-2028" Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
