“36% whole bunch. Tasted before the Clos des Forêts because of the quality of the tannins. Clear bright red of no especial depth. There is rather more weight of fruit on the nose, flirting with reduction. Then a slight mocha note – coffee rather than chocolate. Some light fresh raspberry, just a little pepper. Lean, quite high acidity, perfume returns at the back. This is still very early in its life and it does have intensity rather than weight. Very persistent.”
