A completely different aromatic profile is present here with its emphatically sauvage-inflected nose of dark berries, underbrush and pungent earth. There is notably more volume and muscle if a bit less minerality on the powerful and driving mid-palate that gracefully gives way to a serious, concentrated and mouth coating finale. This textbook example of Cazetiers is not one to buy absent having the express intention of cellaring it for at least a decade. Outstanding.
