"The 2017 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru has a lovely, floral bouquet that is very well defined, traces of violet filtering through the black cherries and bilberry fruit. This particular cru had not been racked at the time of my visit. Nevertheless, it opens wonderfully with a succulent, sensual cassis-tinged finish that lingers on the finish. Give this four or five years. Excellent."
