| MW wines pty ltd Australia's Premier Rare and Fine Wine Company Ownership Joseph Miceli and Robert Worthington own MW wines pty ltd as equal partners. MW is an abbreviation for Miceli and Worthington, though it also is also the abbreviation for Museum Wines. Both Joseph and Robert have a previous background in the wine industry. Joseph Miceli has been involved in viticulture his entire life. After being born under a grapevine, Joseph first helped his family develop vineyards in the Mallee during the late 60's and more recently established vineyards and winery in the Macedon Region during the early 1980's. With the assistance of consultant wine maker Stuart Anderson (formerly Balgownie) and John Ellis (Hanging Rock Winery), Joseph commenced producing quality Shiraz and Cabernet in 1989. Robert Worthington was a senior executive with the San Remo / Crittenden liquor group during the 1980's. He was recruited from discount department stores as an area manager, controlling 8 San Remo stores. Robert later became the Retail Operations Manager for Crittenden Fine Wines. Joseph and Robert began a formal business partnership in 1989. OUR CORE BUSINESS IS: 1.
